Said The Very Rev. Dr. Katherine Ragsdale, Interim VP and Dean of the Seminary, “We are fortunate and delighted that Dr. Weber has taken on these new responsibilities. His excellent scholarship and collegial style make him a valuable faculty partner and leader.Throughout his work, Riddick models the respectful, inclusive, collaborative style that is integral to the values of both Moravian and Lancaster Theological Seminaries and is, in my view, the foundation of effective leadership.”
Dr. Weber’s distinguished liturgical work includes numerous publications, conference presentations, and workshops. He is currently working on a new project, “‘Brother Joseph’s’ Wachovia Work: Spangenberg and the Founding of the Moravian Church in North Carolina” in a forthcoming book celebrating the 300th anniversary of the birth of August Gottlieb Spangenberg to be published by Penn State University Press.
His contributions to Moravian worship, music, and hymnology have enriched the Seminary’s academic and spiritual life.
