Bishop Kortz Award Nomination

Moravian Theological Seminary is proud each year to bestow the John Hus Award upon a deserving alum. This honor is created for the purpose of “giving special recognition to an alum, who, through outstanding service and loyalty to ministry, has brought distinction to the work of the ministry and to Moravian Theological Seminary.”

Nominations for the John Hus Alumni/ae Award will be accepted and reviewed each fall. Nominations that are considered and not selected for the award will be re-evaluated in future years.

This nomination process has been developed by the John Hus Award Committee of the Alumni/ae Board of Directors. Completed nomination forms are required for the committee to review standard information on each of the nominees.

If you wish to nominate a graduate of Moravian Seminary, please submit this form by November 1.

Please include all relevant information that supports your nomination. It may be anecdotal in nature and could include awards, community activities, professional accomplishments or other criteria that would qualify your nominee to receive the award.
